Co-owned by a well known South African Interior Designer, the villa is beautifully styled and furnished. It feels like an extremely comfortable and relaxed gallery full of contemporary arts and crafts.

With the exception of some exquisite fabrics and linen from India, all the furniture, décor items and art pieces are made by local artisans and crafted from Zanzibari materials such as coconut wood and palm leaves. What you see in other Villas and Hotels, and in the markets, has been elevated to a sophisticated rustic chic style.

Service is attentive but discreet, it’s there when you want it. Before you can say the word, a drink will appear, your room will be made up and a scrumptious meal prepared by the head chef and sous chef will be served by the waitress.

The Gardener maintains the pool and lush tropical gardens and the askari (night watchman) is on duty every night.
