KAAMA & JUSTI Master Suites
Two enormous, light-filled bedrooms with private floor-to-ceiling glass doors… opening onto a balcony with breath-taking sea views. Relax in the oversized, elevated bed – with fine linens, soft lighting and bedside tables (all inside a custom-made mosquito net). Both suites have a superb rain shower, and KAAMA features a hand-sculpted plunge tub too.

RI & PRITI Seaview Suites
Added in 2023, Priti master suite opens to a sea view at the front and has a private balcony with garden view at the rear.
RI master suite is the only twin suite, although the two single beds can become a king size double bed upon request.
Both suites offer sea views from a large window and glass door.

RAAGA & ISHTAA Garden View Rooms
Open the door and enter your own private sanctuary. The spacious Garden View Rooms define island elegance with exposed wood beam ceilings and subtle accents. Soak in the sea air as you rest on the oversized, elevated bed with fine linens, ceiling fan, soft lighting and bedside tables – all inside a custom-made mosquito net.
The design of the rooms ensure that you will enjoy a cooling breeze and gentle light all day long.

Upendo Villa Shiva has been beautifully crafted by local craftsman (using local materials wherever possible). The roofs are made of woven palm leaves and the overall design is contemporary, making a wonderful compliment of two very different styles. Like the house, the furniture was designed by the owner and is made from coconut wood, with matting made by the local Woman’s Association in Stone Town. This all adds atmosphere and gives inspiring personal touches.
A small team looks after the guests. They help to make the retreat an unforgettable experience for those who stay there. The private staff includes: butler, housekeeper, gardener and security guard.
